रिलायंस जियो ने आखिरकार एक लंबे इंतजार के बाद वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग एप JioMeet एप लॉन्च कर दिया है। जियोमीट एप को लेकर चर्चा लंबे समय से थी लेकिन कंपनी ने आधिकारिक तौर पर इसे अभी पेश किया है
रिलायंस जियो का यह एचडी वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग एप जियोमीट को पूरी तरह से मुक्त है और इसे मुफ्त में Google Play-store से डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है।  जियोमीट पर वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के लिए अब किसी इनवाइट कोड की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी।  एप में मोबाइल नंबर या ई-मेल आईडी से साइनइन किया जा सकता है
जियोमीट एप पर 100 से अधिक यूजर्स एक बार में वीडियो कांफ्रेंसिंग के जरिए जुड़ सकते हैं। जियोमीट लगभग सभी तरह के डिवाइस पर बखूबी काम करता है। जियोमीट एप मीटिंग शेड्यूल, स्क्रीन शेयर जैसे आकर्षक फीचर्स से लैस है। 


कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग होस्ट को म्यूट अनम्यूट जैसी पॉवर भी दी गई हैं। लॉकडाउन में बहुत से लोग वर्क फ्रॉम होम कर रहे हैं। ऐसे में जियोमीट एक अच्छा विकल्प साबित होगा। जियोमीट एप का सीधा मुकाबला जूम एप से है। 

जियोमीट को Google Play-store या Apple स्टोर से डाउनलोड किया जा सकता है।  यह एंड्रायड और एपल पर समान रूप से काम करता है।  जियोमीटेड विंडोज विंडोज को भी सपोर्ट करता है, इसलिए यूजर्स इसे डेस्कटॉप या लैपटॉप पर भी आसानी से डाउनलोड कर सकते हैं।  इस एप को 30 जून को प्ले-स्टोर पर पब्लिश किया गया है और अभी तक 10 हजार से ज्यादा लोगों ने इसे डाउनलोड कर लिया है।
